My Zinc Bed

My zinc bed is a 2008 British TV Drama which is directed by Anthony Page and is based around a stage play which has the same name. It is commisioned by BBC and is produced in association with HBO Films. The one-off drama drama follows Paul Peplow who is sent to interview wealty business man Victor Quinn. Victors obsession with obsession becomes very clear to Paul when he meets Victors wife who is a recovering Alcoholic.

The Beiderbecke Affair

The Beiderbecke Affair is a British television series produced by ITV during the 1980's and written by Alan Plater who also wrote other dramas. An example of another drama which he wrote is Get Lost! The plot is initially unclear, moving from one unrelated evented to the next until they are finally connected and made sense of by the viewer. However the writer was very clever with the production of this drama as he creates a clever interplay between the characters. It is a character led drama which follows the life of the main leading  character instead of following the classic story structure of everyday drama.

Eastenders

Eastenders is a long-running British drama which was first bradcasted in the United Kingdom on BBC1 on 19th February 1985. It currently is one of the most watched shows in Britain. Eastenders storylines examine the domestic and professional lives of the people who live and work in fictional London Borough of Walford in the East end of London. The series primarily centres around the residents and relatives of the people living in Albert Square, a victorian square of terraced houses and its neighbouring streets.

Holby City + Casualty

Holby City and Casualty are both programmes which are based in hospitals and spin off from one another making them both have alot in common and in relation with each other . They are made to appeal to both a Male and a Female audience who have a profession, prefferably in doctoring, and are aged 25+. Both are quite flexible when it comes to religion as all religions are included in the TV drama. Casualty was introduced on televvision on the year of 1986. Holby City however, came at a later date and was introduced in the year 2007.
